Winifred Redmond Hitch

September 15, 1915 — January 31, 2003

HITCH, Winifred Redmond Sharp, age 87 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, January 31, 2003, at Hillcrest South in Knoxville. She was a member of Cave Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Loudon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hosea Dee and Annie May Redmond; husband, Albert Lee Sharp; son, Gary Lee Sharp; husband, Samuel Wilson “Buck” Hitch; brother, Hosea Dee Redmond, Jr.. Survivors include: daugher, Mrs. Robert (Anna) Elliott; grandchildren, Mrs. Jim (Terry) Love, Mrs. David (Sharon) Karnes; great grandchildren, sisters, Mrs. James (June) Whaley; Mrs. Clint (Virginia) Sulfridge; loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service. Friends may call at their convenience and the family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
