Wilma Louise Clevenger

CLEVENGER, Wilma Louise, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 21, 2003. She was born January 2, 1932 to Cecil and Irene Gardner. She was of the Baptist faith and had served the Lord for 42 years. She attended Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Alvin Clevenger; parents, Cecil and Irene Gardner; brothers, Edward and James Gardner. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Marie and James Daniel Middleton of Maryville; special nephew and wife, David Alvin and Pat Clevenger of Lenoir City; grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Ronnie and Diana Burchfield, Kevin and Tara Burchfield, Eric Middleton and Dawn Middleton; great grandchildren, Heather, Blake, Ashley and Emily Burchfield, Kora Middleton all of Maryville; brothers and sisters, Eugene “Pee-wee” Gardner of Kennesaw, GA, Bobbie McLemore of Marietta, GA, Ruby Henry, Claude Gardner and Ernest “JR” Gardner all of Maryville; special sister-in-law, Clydabea Clevenger; many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Burchfield, Rev. William “Butch” Cooper and Rev. Greg Brackin officiating. The interment service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 24, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
