Wilma Kerr Brewer

May 25, 1920 — July 28, 2017

Wilma Kerr Brewer, age 97, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017, at Life Care of Blount County. She was a member of First United Methodist of Alcoa, and a member of United Methodist Women (UMW). She was a retired LPN from U. T. Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Lee Brewer; brother, Paul Kerr; sister, Shirley Cannon; son-in-law, Bobby Patterson. Survivors include her daughter, Paula Patterson of Louisville, daughter and son-in-law, Twila and Shay Shamblin of Old Hickory, TN; grandchildren, Kristi Cupp and husband Scott, Josh Shamblin and wife Jennifer, Mandy Regen and husband Chris; great grandchildren, Chandler, Parker and Bayler Cupp, Keaton and Boone Regen; Beau and Kate Shamblin; nieces, Robin Massengill, Valerie Neely; nephew, Brian Cannon. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Rogers officiating. The interment will follow in Carpenters Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alcoa First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 617 Gilbert Street, Alcoa, TN 37701.
