Wilma C. Rizzardi

RIZZARDI, Wilma “Tootsie” Spires, age 65 of Maryville, passed away Monday, March 4, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Rizzardi had worked at Blount Memorial Hospital and was a nurse in Huntsville, AL. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Oscar and Azalea Daniel Spires; brother, John Taylor Spires and sister, Louise Teffeteller. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Ned Rizzardi; son, John Rizzardi; son and daughter- in-law, Donald and Louise Rizzardi, daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Philip Hill; daughter, Tammy Rizzardi Hoder; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Cathy Rizzardi and two “adopted” sons, Jim McFarlen and Chuck Patrick. She also leaves behind her eleven loved grandchildren, Abigail, Amanda, Joseph, Christine, Amelia, Little Donald, Timothy, Brooke, Micah, Ethan and Annabell. Wilma was especially close to her nephews and their wives, Dan and Jean Teffeteller and Jimmy and Sharon Teffeteller and their daughter, Cheryl. Other survivors include her mother-in-law, Louise Rizzardi and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Patrick officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville for the interment service.
