William Lynn Mcmurray

William Lynn McMurray, age 68 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He attended Gospel Temple Baptist Church and was an avid outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bart and Hazel Garland McMurray and granddaughter, Regina Kay Gentry. Survivors include his wife, Imogene Nichols McMurray of Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Virgil and Brenda McMurray, Gary and Deborah McMurray; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and David Gentry and Tammy and Wesley Garland all of Maryville; grandchildren, Wayne, Melissa, Daniel, Jason, Rebecca, Brittany, Lacey, Ethan and Autumn; 11 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Betty McMurray, Luke and Evelyn McMurray, Don and Ruth McMurray and James and Vicki McMurray all of Maryville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Fern and Douglas Sutton of FL, Frances and Richard McClean of NC, Patsy and Bill Toney of NC, Gladys and Bert Harbison, and Joyce and Donnie Sutton all of Maryville; several nieces, nephews and many special friends. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Everett and Rev. Jerry Little officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Upper Chilhowee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (Red Top).
