Hundreds of hearts were left hurting January 10th, 2011 when William Brent Casey of Boca Raton departed this life to be with the Lord. A true Southern gentleman, Brent was the beloved proprietor of Turn 3 Sports Bar in West Boca Raton, along with the wife he so adored, Susan Hartley Casey. Born in 1944 in Memphis, TN, Brent was a US Navy veteran and had retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield after a long & successful career. A graduate of Rhodes College & Texas Christian University, Brent was fluent in several languages and was an accomplished Jazz musician & die-hard Tennessee Vols fan. Brent Casey was like a father to many, and a friend to all who met him. His hospitality, patriotism & devotion to his family were boundless, and his soft-spoken drawl belied the hooligan wit so many people loved about him. Brent had a rare generosity of spirit, and is surely now in the warm embrace of other dear family members & friends who preceded his passing. Brent is survived by his wife and ''Ladybug'' Susan Hartley Casey, siblings, Patrick, Dennis, and Maryanne, son, Todd Carrell, daughters, Kelly Weger & Christine McCord, grandchildren, Max & Sam McCord, Zoe Carrell, and Hannah & Reagan Weger. Also missing Brent are the scores of friends and loyal patrons he's amassed over time. Entombment will take place on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM, Grandview Cemetery. There will be a reception following for friends and family at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Maryville. McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in charge 982-6812 www.mccammonammonsclick.com
