William ''Bill'' Royce Allen

Allen, William “Bill” Royce, age 86, died March 7, 2009 at Asbury Place. He was very active member of Broadway United Methodist Church for 58 years. Bill was a WWII veteran and retired from ALCOA as a Mechanical engineer after 33 years. He is preceded in death by a grandson Allen Culberson. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Willie Rose ; twin daughters, Mary Morehead and husband Lance of Alcoa , TN and Edie Culberson and husband David of Johnson City,TN ; grandchildren Morgan Hodson and husband Chad of Maryville, Mason Morehead and wife Ryan of Spartanburg SC, Wes Culberson and wife Jessica of Milwaukee, and Kit Culberson of Big Sky MT, also survived by a great-granddaughter Darcy Hodson. The family wishes to thank Asbury Place for their kind and loving care. Funeral Services will be held 4:00 pm Monday March 9, 2009 at Broadway United Methodist Church of Maryville with the interment following in Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Amy Probst officiating. The Family will receive friends Monday March 9, 2009 from 2:30 til 4:00 pm at Broadway United Methodist Church of Maryville.
