Willadean Hilda Hall Higdon, age 83 of Maryville, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Willadean known as “Gran†to her grandkids, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Her family was the center of her world. Gran loved spending time taking her grandkids to breakfast and goodwill, antiquing and being with dear friends and family at Lake Tansi Beach. She will be truly missed, but her family rejoices that she is in the presence of her Savior and is reunited with her family in heaven. Willadean was a longtime member of Maryville First Baptist Church and involved in WMU and Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Sarah Hall; brother, J.D. Hall; sisters, Inez Farmer, Jodie Banks Dean, Alda Maranville; grandson, Noah Lucas Higdon. Survivors include her husband, LaMar Higdon; sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Amy Higdon , Scott and Sandy Higdon; son, John Higdon daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Les Spencer; grandchildren, Maggie Sarah and Jacob Benjamin Higdon, Britney Dawn Landon, Zachary Noah and Abigale Morgan Higdon, Leslie Garrett, Alexis Christian, and Sarah Carson Spencer; her canine shadow, Lucky. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. 982-6812. Memorials may be made to Maryville First Baptist Church children’s ministry, 202 W.
