Wilford B. Kirby - age 87 of Maryville passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 at his home. He was a member of Friendsville First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Millsaps Kirby; parents, Arthur and Zella Caylor Kirby; sisters, Juanita Davis, Violet Brown, and Mary Ruth Long; brother, Bill Kirby. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Charles Bailey, Sherrie and Jim Nicholson; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Judy Kirby; grandchildren, Amber Medders and husband Rich; Lindsey Sproles, Shane, Nicholas, and Kristen Bailey; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Ian, Caylor and Colt; great-great-grandchildren, Covin, Caige, Caylx, Taeton, Ason, and McKenna; sister, Rowena Long; sister-in-law, Charlotte Millsaps and family; several nieces and nephews; special friend L.C. Tuck. The family would like to give a special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospital Home Health and to Blount Memorial Hospital Hospice. Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with David Hipps officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Bethel Cemetery in Townsend for the interment service. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7 P.M. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jill B.
