Wells Waters

WATERS, Wells, age 75 of Maryville, died Friday, January 25, 2002, at his home. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a well known Blount County Farmer. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Alice Louise Waters; parents, Jim and Nannie Waters; sister, Mary Lynn Hancox; brothers, Max (Sonny) Waters and Enoch Waters. Survivors include: wife, Virginia H. Waters; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Scott Emert; son, Andy Waters; granddaughter, Danielle Emert; sister, Helen Sullivan; brothers, James (Bud) Waters and Mose Waters; brother-in-law, Richard Hancox all of Maryville and many special friends. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Long officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
