Wayne Allen Pierce

Wayne Allen Pierce, age 68, of Sweetwater, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Wayne was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1973, Knoxville Institute of Technology and worked 44 years at Alcoa, Inc.

Wayne was preceded in death by parents, William and Elizabeth Pierce; grandparents, Carson and Grace Willocks; brother, Stephen Pierce.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Tommie Pierce; son, Brandon A. Pierce; granddaughter, Ebie Marie Pierce; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm with Reverend Gilbert Harris officiating. The interment will be held at 3:00 pm at Christanburg Baptist Church, Sweetwater.
