Warren Benson "Tater" Garner

Warren Benson “Tater” Garner, age 76, passed away August 21, 2019 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Warren was a life long member, deacon and song leader of Old Chilhowee Missionary Baptist Church. Warren loved his Lord and Savior, his church and working with the young people. He was owner and operator of Garner’s Deli & Gas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Ruth Dykes Garner; brothers, Franklin Garner and Calvin Garner.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Linda Garner; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jeff Caughron; special grandson, Tyler Caughron; sister-in-law, Debbie Garner; many nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends and neighbors, Tom and Sue Thievon, Paul and Bessie Davis; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Larry Leming, Rev. Jack Hitch and Rev. Darrell Brooks officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM, Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
