Walter Lawson Brown

BROWN, Walter, L., of Maryville, died Friday, November 2, 2001. He was in the Army/Air Force for 4 years, was employed at Alcoa Aluminum Company as an Industrial Truck Driver for 40 years and was a member of the 25 Year Service Club. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Lawson Brown Trentham; father, William Jasper Brown; brother, Jack P. Brown of Indiana; sisters, Hester Brown Fortney and Captoila Beaver both of Maryville. Survivors include: wife, Bobbie Ridings Brown; sons, Erik Brown and Tony Brown; brother, Joe R. Brown of Knoxville; sister, Elizabeth Brown of Indiana; sisters-in-law, Rosetta Holsomback of Maryville, Delsa Brown of Indiana; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Whitehead and Winfred Whitehead of Georgia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clifford and Marla Ridings of New Mexico. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Dr. John Franklin officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 212 S. Peters Rd., Suite 106, Knoxville, TN 37923.
