GOLDFINE, VIVIAN HOPE (JEEP), age 80, of Tellico Village, died peacefully Tuesday morning, July 14th, at Fort Saunders Park West Medical Center. Born June 14, 1924, Vivian, a native of Maryville, TN, was the beloved daughter of the late Leonard and Kathryn McCulloch, and cherished wife of the late Milton Goldfine of Brooklyn, NY. A former Blount County teacher, Vivian went on to teach in El Paso, TX, and later moved to La Crescenta, CA, where she is lovingly remembered for her involvement in numerous community organizations and for her generosity as a volunteer in support of area hospitals and charities. In particular, she was especially proud of an award she received from Sun-Air for her work with asthmatic children. Upon retiring to Tellico Village in 1989, she devoted her inexhaustible energy to her new community as a charter member of the Tellico Village Community Church and to numerous other activities, perhaps most notably her enthusiastic support of her beloved Lady Vols. Her zest for life, her drive for adventure, and her love of people were legendary among all who knew her, and the many lasting friendships she developed across the country are a testament to the way she positively touched all whom she met. Vivian is survived by and will be forever remembered by her devoted son, Bernie, daughter-in-law, Ruth, and twin grandsons William and Jacob; sister, Mary Lynn Gredig; sister-in-law, Jeanette Cross; brother-in-law Howard Goldfine; nieces Kathy McKeehan, Mickey Lyda, Cynthia Kaiser, and Sarah Ward; nephews Jim McCulloch, Robert McCulloch, and Ben Gredig; cousins, Margie Arnold, Peggy Barnett, Kenneth Duggan, Norma Duggan, Ronnie Huffaker, Tom Kirby, and Janey Stoakes; several great-nephews/great-nieces, and numerous extended family members. Services will be held on Saturday, July 17, at 11:00 a.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, 220 West Broadway Avenue, Maryville, followed by the burial at Kagley’s Chapel in Maryville. The family will receive friends at the Tellico Village Community Church Christian Fellowship Center on Sunday, July 18, at 11:45 a.m. following Church services: 130 Chota Center, Tellico Village, Loudon, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Heart Association. McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in charge, Maryville, 865-982-6812 or 865-970-2214 www.mccammonammonsclick.com
