BROWN, Violet Lula, age 76 of Friendsville, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Friendsville Friends Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Brown; daughter, Brenda Lindsey; grandson, Jason Gentry and sister, Mary Ruth Long. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Sandy Brown of Lenoir City, Lynn and Peggy Brown of Knoxville; daughter, Jackie Brown of Friendsville; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ken Gentry of Friendsville; grandchildren, Bethany Campbell, Chris Brown, Brian Brown, Kelly Crockett, Grant Gentry, Grace Gentry and Eric Gentry; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Davis of Walland, Rowena Long of Maryville; brothers, Wilford Kirby of Maryville, Bill Kirby of Louisville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Hickman officiating. Family and friends will meet at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home at 12:00 noon Thursday to proceed to Bethel Cemetery in Townsend for a 1:00 p.m. interment service with Rev. Glenn Grubb officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. The family will be at the home of Nancy Gentry, 539 W.
