Vernon Wayne Cagle

Cagle, Vernon Wayne, age 80, went to be with the Lord on June 19th, 2009.he was a veteran of the Korean war stationed in Germany. He retired from Robert Shaw Controls. Member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church where he was an usher and worked with his wife in the welcome center. He is preceded in death by his parents, Deadrick and Grace Cagle; sisters Faye Lyke and Helen Matheny; brothers, Thomas and Kyle Cagle. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Juanita Best Cagle ; daughters, Vicki McDaniel and husband Steve of Maryville TN, Cheryl West and husband Mike of Corryton TN.; granddaughters, Kim McDaniel of Maryville TN and Jessica West Mynatt and husband Dustin of Corryton TN; step grandsons, Kevin and Bryan West ; brother, Don Cagle of Oak Ridge TN ; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff on the fifth floor of Blount Memorial Hospital and the caregivers through hospice. Funeral services will be 7:30pm Monday June 22, 2009 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Charlie McNutt officiating. The interment service will be held 10:00am Tuesday June 23, 2009 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Alcoa TN.
