Ulysses S. Shown

Ulysses S. Shown (U.S.), age 82 of Maryville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 19, 2019 after a 10 year battle with dementia. He was married to the love of his life, Bertha (Chapman) for 60 years. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, T.J. Shown, Sr. And Lassie Vinsant Shown; brothers, T.J. Shown, Jr., R.L. Shown; sisters, Georgia Graves, Virginia Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jackie Shown; grandson, Jonathan Shown; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 23rd from 1:00-2:00 PM at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home and service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Randy Buchanan officiating. Family and friends will re-assemble 3:00 PM at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
