Trisha J. Lowd-Lima, age 26, born and raised in Fresno, California andmoved to Maryville, Tennessee, thirteen years ago at the age of twelve, passed away on August 16, 2009, at Vanderbilt Hospital, after a long hard battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She was a fighter and never let her disease bring her down. She would always have a smile on her face and would bring one to others. Her saying was ''Death is only the beginning and life is but a dream''. She left behind her mother, Valerie Lima, her husband, Roger Lowd and brother, Raymond Gallegos, along with all her loving grandpa, aunts, uncles and cousins. She also left behind her pets, Hollow and Roxy. She was surrounded by her loving family, including her Nana, Ramona Lima, and her uncle, Richard Lima. I would like to thank all the nurses on third-floor at Children's Hospital who took care of Trisha during her long years of battle with this disease. I would also like to thank Dr. Rogers and Dr. Riff for their care of Trisha during her time of need. I would also like to thank Dr. McCormick and his office for the short period of time that he took care of her.
