Travis Hugh Webb, Airman First Class, age 20, of Maryville, born October 14, 1989 passed away suddenly and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 29, 2010. He was a member of 134th Airbase at McGee Tyson; a member of Blount County Sheriffs Office, Citizen Academy. He was a graduate of William Blount High School 2008 and was awarded a baseball scholarship. As a young man Travis’s passion was sports from baseball to golf. He was a kindhearted person and volunteered for the Special Olympics. Travis lived life to the fullest. He was a loving and caring son and friend to those how knew him. Preceded in death by his Grandfather Harold Dwight Atchley, Grandparents Hugh E. Webb and Helen Webb. He is survived by Parents Patricia Atchley Webb and Michael Hugh Webb and Grandmother Phyllis Atchley and Family Debbie, John and Lydia Wilbourn, Sarah, Brett, Noah, Emmalyn, William Stahl, Elizabeth and Jonas Carrigan, Rachel, Carey and Clair Mobley, Rick, Mikki and Luke Atchley, Tammi, Robert and Olivia Boone, Tamara and Cory Phillips, Sherri, Russell, Breven and Ross Spencer, Tracy, David, Charlene and Kayla Webb, Sherry, Mike, Dustin Taylor Green. Special Friends Uncle Ron Fleenor, Debbie and Terri Tucker, Godmother Ms. Charlotte Slagle and many other special friends from Fleenor’s Hair Design, Coach Debbie Campbell, Coach Wally Moles, Big Randall Cobb, Rick Tinker, Mike Coulter, Bobby Ridner, Tom Gouffon, Tom Roberts, Pat Ryan, Jeff McMillan, Tommy Burnett, Coach Charlie Puleo, Coach John Clay, Coach Rick Waltermire, Coach Don Sentell, Coach Jay Malone, Coach Mike Guinn and Coach Mike White. Travis will be loved and greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 3rd at Maryville First Baptist Church (Across from the Blount County Courthouse) 6:30 pm with Rev. John Wilbourn and Rev. Wayne Atchley officiating. Receiving of friends immediately following until 9 pm. The Graveside Service to be held at Bethel Baptist Church in Townsend on Friday, June 4th, 11am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Blount County Sheriff’s Department Citizens Academy, Shop with a Cop.
