Thomas (Tom) Willard Baugh, Jr. passed away peacefully after a long illness on November 3, 2015 at U. T. Medical Center. Tom was born on November 28, 1931 and was the son of Thomas W. and Elizabeth K. (Bess) Baugh. He was a graduate of Maryville High School and Purdue University and was a Staff Sergeant in the Army and veteran of the Korean War. Tom had a long career with Alcoa including roles as the Manager of Alcoa's Tennessee Smelting Operation and the Works Manager of Wenatchee Works and Badin Works. He also owned and operated numerous entrepreneurial ventures. Throughout his life he served, led and participated in many civic and philanthropic organizations. He was a sixty-one year member of Fairview United Methodist Church where he served on numerous fund raising and building committees'. Tom was a youth coach and mentor to many individuals throughout his life. He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-one years, Nancy (Tedford) Baugh; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Jim Huffstetler; son, Thomas W. (Bill) Baugh, III of Davidson, NC; grandchildren, Ashley D'errico, Amanda Breid, Rachael Baugh, Thomas (Ty) W. Baugh, IV, Bernadette Baugh and Jackson Baugh; great grandchildren, Chloe Breid and Kyra D'errico; sisters-in-law, Helen Lambert and Irene Huff; daughter-in-law, Maya Baugh; nieces and nephews, Tedd Huff, Randy Huff (Blowing Rock, NC), Susan Headrick, Sarah Shepard and Joe Huff; special friends, Dick and Ann Ray and Joe and Ardy Adams. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Russell and Rev. Mickey Rainwater officiating. The interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
