Thomas Lowry Taylor - age 90 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010. He was a veteran of WWII and retired from ALCOA after a lifetime of service. He was an avid out-doorsman, an Eagle Scout, and a Boy Scout Leader of Troop 88 for many years. He was a graduate of Maryville College and a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Barbara Jean Anderson Taylor; parents, Ernest Copeland Taylor and Jonnie Ann McCully Taylor; brother, Glen Ernest Taylor; sister, Ruth Taylor Junkin. Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Dr. And Mrs. Lloyd McCully Taylor of Great Falls, MT; children, Pat Dean of Cleveland, TN, Susan Hitch of Maryville and Bill and wife Barbara Taylor of Pigeon Forge; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Tom and Wendy Dean of Wilmington, NC; Charley, Jennifer, Mallory, and Taylor Dean of Lebanon, TN; Pete Hitch of Maryville; Scott, Julianne, Laura, and Todd Hitch of Maryville; Brad and Emily Hitch of Alcoa; Emma Taylor and Michael Mealer of Knoxville; Brett and Kendra Taylor of Guam; special care giver, Rita Fisher.
