Thomas F. Bush

BUSH, Thomas F., age 75 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Army. He graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA in 1949 and from the University of Connecticut Graduate School of Chemistry in 1951. Mr. Bush was past president of Maryville Kiwanis Club, was past president of the Friend Ship Force of Knoxville, was a member of the Green Meadow Country Club, was Chairman of the Advisory Board of Johnson Group Home and Blount County Boys Home, and was retired from BTR Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Elizabeth Horan Bush; sister, Annette Bush Gambaccini. Survivors include: wife of 50 years, Eleanor Regan Bush of Maryville; daughters and sons-in- law, Elizabeth and Laurence Lindholm of Joliet, IL, Priscilla and James Hirsch of Genoa, IL and Ellen and Jay Freudenberg of Ft. Collins, CO; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas F. Jr. and Crystal Bush of Chicago, IL; 11 grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Lisa Bush of Trumbull, CT; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral mass will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Alex Waraksa officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
