Thomas Barry Woods

Thomas Barry Woods 47 of Maryville was taken into heaven on February 24, 2018 after a brief illness. He was a Christian young man who loved playing his guitar with his buddies for events in area churches. When he lived on earth he was well liked by all who knew him. He was employed at JTech in Vonore, previously with Waters Equipment in Maryville over 17 years, and he maintained a lawn business. Preceded in death by his father, Rev. Barry E. Woods; grandparents, Jesse and Ruby Woods, John Bert and Irene Carpenter; cousins, Anthony and Shane Carpenter. Survivors include son, Jesse Woods and fianc Madison Brown; mother, Loretta Carpenter Woods; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends. The family will receive friends 5:30 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with funeral services to follow with Rev. Robert Burns and Rev. Bill Suttles officiating. The interment will be 1:00 PM Wednesday in Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers monetary memorials may be made payable to McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral (Thomas Barry Woods Memorial Fund), 220 W. Broadway Ave., Maryville, TN 37801.
