Theresa Hitchcock

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, Theresa Hitchcock went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from a long hard fight with cancer. She was born on December 9, 1954, to Youl AJ and Anna Clouse in Rushville, IN. She married her high school sweetheart on July 28, 1978, to John Hitchcock until his passing.

Theresa was the heart and glue that held her family together. She enjoyed spending her time with her large family, playing poker, traveling, sitting on the porch in the rocking chair drinking sweet tea and cheering on the Tennessee Vols.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, husband John Hitchcock, four brothers, four sisters.

Theresa is deeply mourned by her daughter, April Hitchcock of Nashville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Erin Hitchcock of Maryville, TN; stepson and daughter-in-law, Tony Sheets of Greensburg, IN; four grandchildren; two honorary grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold Clouse of DeRidder, LA, Max Clouse of Speedway, IN, David Clouse of DeQuincy, LA, Don Clouse of Columbus, IN; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 AM, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the service to follow at 10:00 AM. The interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
