Theodore ''Ted'' Kleinsasser

Theodore W. “Ted” Kleinsasser - age 98 of Maryville passed away Sunday, August 25, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Maryville. He was a retired Meteorologist with the U.S. Weather Bureau. He will be long remembered as a Square Dance Instructor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel B. Kleinsasser; son-in- law, Colonel Harold Shultz; grandson, Tye Shultz. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy K. Shultz, of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Ann Kleinsasser, of Eugene, OR; grandchildren, Kate Kleinsasser, Ann and Bill Holland, Bill and Susan Kleinsasser, Jean and Bernie McGraw, Ann and Don Bussell, Debbie Shultz, Bill and Joy Shultz; great-grandchildren, Hazel Kleingrove, Patrick Holland, Riley Holland, Joey Holland, Anna Kleinsasser, Michael McGraw, Jennifer, McGraw, Amanda McGraw, Daniel McGraw, Bethany Bussell, Steven Bussell, Kari Bussell, Michelle Bussell, Kristi Bussell, David Bussell, Katie Shultz, Blake Shultz, and Hannah Shultz; niece, Shirley Fox, of Canton, SD. Funeral services will be 10:30 Tuesday Morning in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Dr. Darris Doyal officiating. The interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
