Sylvia Louise Miller

Sylvia Louise Miller, age 78, passed away at Jan. 6, 2007, at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was a member of Alcoa First United Methodist Church where she served her Lord Jesus Christ for many years and enjoyed teaching Bible classes. She retired from Aluminum Company of America with 32 years of service. Member of the ALCOA 25 year club. Survivors include sister, Doris M. Carver and husband Bill of Athens, TN, brother Carl E . Miller, Jr. and wife Norma of Maryville; nieces, Jean and Bill Clark of Georgetown, TN, Pat and George Carpenter of Chucky, TN, Carla and Lynn Hauman of Casselberry, FL. Tamra and David Carrigan of Maryville; nephews, Tom and Sandy Carver of Austin, TX, Greg W. Hunt of Cohutta GA, Michael and Janet Hunt, Carl and Dana Miller of Maryville. Many beloved great nieces and nephews and also great, great nieces and nephew; cousin, Glen McKenney of Brownsville, TN. Special friend, Moss Ann Owen and many friends. Special Thanks to the caregivers both at home and Colonial Hills Nursing Center C wing and Blount Memorial Hospice. Family and friends will meet 11:00 am Monday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Pastor Joe Green officiating.
