Susie Cutshaw Blair, surrounded by family and care givers at her home, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, January 5, 2012, at the age of 89. She was a charter member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband of 59 years, Luther Benjamin Blair, Jr.; parents, John and Ida Martin Cutshaw; brothers, Richard, Henry, George, David, Johnny and Cecil; sisters, Lucy, Julie Cutshaw, Tina McGaha; half brothers and sisters. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Bobby Beaty; grandsons, Mark (Amy) Beaty, Mike (Teresa) Beaty, Aragon, GA, Bobby Beaty, Jr., Benjamin (Meghan) Beaty; great grandsons, Caleb (Jessie) Beaty, Aragon, GA, Noah Beaty; great granddaughters, Natalie Beaty, Madison Beaty all of Blount County; sisters, Mary Tipton, Edith Ballew; sisters-in-law, Ethel Cutshaw, Freida Blair; special nieces, Stella Long, Linda Butler, Donna Cutshaw; nephews, Steve Cutshaw and Gary McGaha. Thanks to the care givers, Ann Parton, Teresa Sing and Loretta Moore; to the Hospice Group that was so sweet and attended to her needs; special friends, Carol and Jerry Traxlor, Donna Reed. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Carl White and son-in-law, Brother Bobby Beaty officiating. The graveside service will be Monday, January 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery.
