Stephen Michael (''Coach Mike'') Roberts, Sr.

ROBERTS SR., Stephen Michael (“Coach Mike”), age 44 of Alcoa, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He attended Victory Baptist Church and Friendsville Baptist Church, was a Knoxville Police Officer for 13 years and an Alcoa Little League Baseball Coach for 4 years. He was a wonderful father and husband. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Ellen Hubbard and Anderson and Pearl Roberts. Survivors include: wife, Lisa Branam Roberts; sons, Stephen Michael Roberts, Jr. and Alexander Chase Roberts; father and mother, Roy L. and Betty Roberts; brothers, Roger Dale Roberts and wife Debbie, Timothy Lee Roberts and wife Donna and Jeffrey Scott Roberts and wife Stacie; brothers-in-law, Jeff Branam, Mike Branam, David Branam and wife Angie and Roger Smith and wife Frances; sister-in-law, Patricia Crow and husband David; mother-in-law, Edwina Brown; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark Grubb, Rev. Tyson McKeehan and Rev. Larry Bradley officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Louisville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
