Shirley Jean "Pete" Bell

Shirley Jean (Pete) Bell, age 81 of Maryville, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at her home. She attended Pine Grove Presbyterian Church and was employed with Proffitts for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her son, Richie Bell; parents, William Leon and Ella Long Hammontree; sisters, Mildred Disney and Johnnie Myers; brothers, Tommy and Bobby Hammontree. Survivors include her sister, Willie Clyde (Bill) Evans; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Rex Shepherd and Jill and Jerry Dixon; grandchildren, Adam Shepherd, Erika and Jordan Price; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice, Dr. Mark Green and Staff, and special friends, Shayne and Julia Moody and their children Jayla and Milla. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ron Sabo officiating.
