Sharon Lorena Pritchett Lequire

Sharon Lorena Pritchett LeQuire, age 81, passed peacefully surrounded by family on February 3, 2022. Sharon was the second of seven children born to Ted and Stella Pritchett on April 30, 1940, in Alcoa, Tennessee. Sharon graduated from UT nursing program in 1961. She married Don LeQuire in 1972 and together they shared a love for the mountains of East Tennessee and Cades Cove. Sharon was a long-time resident of Scottsboro, Alabama and member of Trinity Baptist Church in Scottsboro. She recently moved back home to East Tennessee. Sharon is preceded in death by husband Dr. Donald LeQuire, parents Ted and Stella Pritchett, and brother Clay Pritchett.

She is survived by children Stan (Coleen) LeQuire, Mark (Gage) LeQuire, Karen (Troy) Crow, and Shelly (Skip) Adams, grandchildren Josh (Kristin) LeQuire, Daniel (Heather) Cone, Anna (Clint) LeQuire, Michael Silva, Matthew (MC) Lawson, Anthony Silva, Rachel LeQuire, Caitlin LeQuire and dozens of great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Judy (Sonny) Hurst, Millie (Felix) Daniels, Bill (Kay) Pritchett, Alma Evans, and Buck (Sandy) Pritchett, aunt Hilda (Howard) Cook, and many nieces and nephews that adored their “Aunt Polly”, best girlfriends, pat Kitchens, Faye Bynum, Lori Bailey, Merble Reeves and Cheree Sisson.

Services will be held on Sunday February 13th at 11:00am Grandview Cemetery in Maryville, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. www.mccammonammonsclick.com 865-982-6812
