Sebastian Timothy Kunert

Sebastian Timothy Kunert, 23 of Knoxville, TN, passed away on June 17, 2024. He was born in Knoxville to Paul and Angela Kunert on March 12, 2001. He was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed hiking and camping with his friends. Often, he would just go fishing by himself or anyone else who would tag along. He was a great conversationalist and constant comedian. He would entertain anytime he had the chance making them laugh with stories, such as “Sebastian, the Great Bear Hunter" and the time he saw bigfoot at the tender age of five. He also was a talented artist, enjoyed writing, and was an amazing baker. His dad particularly loved his pineapple upside down cake. Sebastian lived life on his own terms, loved his family more than anything, always putting his family first. Sebastian, you were wild as the wind with a heart of gold.

Sebastian was preceded in death by his grandfathers John N Kunert of Texas, Herbert O’Quinn of Texas, Jack Haynes, Granny Bowers, and Uncle Tim Haynes.

He is survived by his father, Paul Kunert; his mother, Angela Kunert; his brothers Paul Kunert Jr., Seth Kunert; sisters Emmalee Kunert and Haylee Haynes; Grandmothers “Honey” Clareen O’Quinn of Texas, and Gail Carrington-Kunert of Texas; Grandfather Henry Bowers; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday June 23, 2024, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. A family gathering will be determined.
