Sarah Louise Mace Hartley

Sarah Louise Mace Hartley, age 79 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was employed by the Tennessee Valley Authority for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Elsie Mace; her son, James Daniel (Danny) Hartley; her sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Joe Blackburn; and her nieces, Judith and Cynthia. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia H. (Sissy) and Dan Caldwell of Maryville and Deborah H. (Debi) and Don Springer of Angola, IN; grandchildren, Katherine H. (Kate) Caldwell of Maryville and Joseph D. (Joe) Caldwell of Maryville; and nephew, Joseph Blackburn of Lexington, KY. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010, at New Providence Presbyterian Church in Maryville, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Stan Rushing. A reception for family and friends will follow the service at the Church. The interment will be at Happy Valley Cemetery in Elizabethton, TN, at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
