Sara Kathleen Mcclure Foster

FOSTER, Sarah Kathleen McClure- age 92 of Maryville, TN, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008 at NHC HealthCare, Hendersonville, TN. She was an active member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Foster; infant son, Stephen Clark; brothers Charles, William, Frank, Raymond, and Paul McClure; sisters Lucy Hitch, Bertha Horton, Mildred Smith, Elizabeth Vandaveer, and Katie Anderson. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Pam Foster of Hermitage, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Foster and Burke Garrett of Ashford, WA; sister-in-law Lorene McClure of Maryville; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00p.m Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Chapel with The Rev. Glenn Cummings and The Rev. Glenn Grubb officiating Mrs. Foster's celebration of life service. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 p.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. The interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens following the service. The musical offering will be performed by great-niece Brooke McClure. Pallbearers include James McClure, Raymond Vandaveer, Ted Sowders, Howard Miller, Tom Sowders, and Justin McClure. Honorary Pallbearers include Mrs. Foster's Madison Avenue Sunday School Class, Sarah Sowders, Paula Wolfe, Bobbie Miller, Meda McMurray, and Pat Chasteen.
