Sara Janet Helton Hicks

Sara Janet Helton Hicks, age 78 of Maryville, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church, a member of ABWA, and was employed by Bank of Maryville and First Tennessee Bank for 38 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by her parents, Henry D. and Mary E. Fox Helton and brother, Henry Helton, Jr. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Carson Hicks; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sharon Vaughn Hicks; grandson, Casey Hicks and wife Tiffany; great granddaughter, Allana Hicks; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Mayford Wilson and JoAnn and Bill Howell; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
