Sandra Dean Long

Sandra Dean Long, age 78 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Clover Hill Senior Living. She was a retired school teacher with several years at Bearden High School and at Bearden Elementary where she loved all of her students. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Ruby Thompson Long and brother, Dale Long. Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Joe Dotson of Greenback; niece, Deana Johnson; nephews, Luke Dotson and Daleon Long; numerous cousins and friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to her neighbors in Knoxville and the staff at Clover Hill Senior Living. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. The body was cremated and a private burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
