Ruth Tulloch Bright

April 29, 1913 — November 7, 2001

BRIGHT, Ruth Tulloch, age 88 of Maryville, died Wednesday, November 7, 2001, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a longtime member of New Providence Presbyterian Church where she served as the Wedding Reception Coordinator in Westminster Hall. In addition, she was a member of the Quilting Circle. Mrs. Bright was a proud member of the National Society of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Bright; parents, Walter and Lucy Kagley Tulloch; brothers: Cliff Tulloch, Glenn Tulloch, Raymond Tulloch and James Tulloch; sister, Maude Martin. Survivors include: daughter, Patsy Fogg and husband Norman of Maryville; granddaughters: Karen Raske and husband David of Knoxville, Susan King and husband Adam of Topeka, Kansas, and Libby Pridmore and husband Chris of Maryville; 5 great grandchildren: Chris Lunsford, Erica Doss, Adrienne Doss, Alex Pridmore and Caroline Ruth Pridmore. Survivors also include her brothers, Fred Tulloch and wife Helen of Chicago, IL and Ralph Tulloch of Orlando, FL. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Philip Bembower.
