Ruth Phillips Harrison

HARRISON, Ruth Phillips, age 84 of Maryville, passed away Friday, April 8, 2005, at Asbury Place. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Tabernacle Church in Sweetwater and was retired from Minton Department Store. She was preceded in death by both her husbands, Ross Phillips and I. A. Harrison; parents, William and Eva Humphrey Spradlin; brothers, Joe Spradlin and Troy Spradlin; sister, Ruby Moore. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Bob Drake; grandchildren, Jeff and Karen Drake and Mitzi and Ron Green all of Alcoa; great grandchildren, Justin Drake, Jessica Drake, Ryan Green and Alex Green; brother, Charles Spradlin; sister, Carrie Stickles of SC; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Friends Cemetery in Friendsville for a graveside service with Rev. Gerald Atkins officiating.
