Ruth Ann Shields

Ruth Ann Shields, age 51 of Pigeon Forge, passed away Monday, June 21, 2004, at Farragut Healthcare Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Granville B. and Elizabeth Hartgraves Shields. Survivors include her daughter, Melanie Alyssa Upton of Chicago, IL; brothers, Dr. John C. Shields and Granville B. Shields, Jr. both of Normal, IL; sister, Rhonda E. (Beth) Stubbs of Knoxville, TN; fiancé, Phillip Troutman of Pigeon Forge; nephew, Thomas B. Stubbes of Knoxville. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Middle Creek Cemetery in Sevierville for a graveside service with Rev. William J. Fowler officiating. Friends may call at their convenience from 5-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the home of Beth Stubbs, 1313 Kensington Drive, Knoxville.
