Ruth Allen Anderson

Ruth Allen Anderson, 87, passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Anderson. Born in Madisonville, TN, she was a graduate of Hiawassee College and was a lifelong homemaker and loving wife. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to her wonderful friend, Bettye McCall, and her caretakers, Ramona, Nicky, Angela and Linda, who made it possible for her to enjoy her last years in her own home with her beloved Boston Terrier “Sweetie”. They also greatly appreciate her faithful “calling and visiting” friend, Betty Stapleton. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Tom Cooper, MD of Marietta, GA. Mrs. Anderson is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Dandridge, TN, with Rev. Henry Swan, Ruth’s nephew, officiating.
