Russ ''Rusty'' Young Brewer

Russ Young Rusty Brewer age 56 of Alcoa passed away Friday August 24, 2012 at UT Hospital. Russ was a Lieutenant For the Maryville Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents William Russ and June Vandergriff Brewer. He is survived by his wife Diana McCall Brewer, daughters Beth Lamfers and husband Levi, Melissa Nichols and husband Rob, grandchildren Abigail and Amelia Lamfers and Brady Nichols. Sisters and brothers in laws, Pat and David Ford, Bunnee and Mike Bogle, Sandy and Tommy Spears, sister in law Shanon Braden and husband Keith, aunts Eloise Vandergriff, Ruby Anderson, Lorene Brewer, uncle Don Vandergriff and wife Francine, nieces Brooke, Laurren, Lindsey, Olivia, Emery, Kaylee, and Alicia;nephews, Wesley and Justin, several great nieces and nephews and cousins Special niece Janie Stokes who he baptized on January 1, 2012. Special friends and fireman buddies that meant the world to him and Charlie Martinez who donated a kidney to Russ in 2003. The funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday at Maryville Church of Christ with Minister Jonathon Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday at the church. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Greenback.
