Roy Eugene "Gene" Lee

Roy Eugene “Gene” Lee, age 95, passed away April 11, 2025, at The University of Tennessee Hospital. He was born in Lenoir City, TN, and lived in Maryville, TN. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War. He was Pharmacist and Owner of City Drug Co. in downtown Maryville from 1965 and until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church and attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie “Rossie” Denton Lee.

He is survived by his brother, James W. “Dub” Lee; children, Vicki Hinkle (John), Mark Lee, Ron Lee, Melinda James (Jeff); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 16th at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville TN, with the service to follow at 1:00 PM. The interment will immediately follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Lenoir City, TN.
