Roy E. Valentine

Roy E. Valentine Sr. Age 88 of Alcoa passed away Saturday October 1, 2011 at Maryville Health Care. He was a retired electrician at Alcoa and also owned several restaurant including Dubbs for many years. He was a loyal member of Broadway Baptist Church and served in the Army Air Force during WWII. Special thanks to caregivers Sherry Knox, Jan Shepard, sister in law Linda Lamb and Brenda Ewell. He is preceded in death by his wife Wilma Valentine and son Roy E. Valentine Jr. He is survived by his daughter and son in law Jan and Doug McClanahan and son R. Craig Valentine. Grandchildren, Susan Valentine and husband Andrew Wilson, Brad McClanahan and wife Ashley, great grandchildren Jackson and Cole McClanahan. Brother and sister in law, Earl and Sara Valentine and brother Frank Valentine. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Webster officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 Monday at the funeral home. The family and friends will meet at Clarks Grove Cemetery 10:00 a.m. Tuesday for the interment.
