Roy Cecil "Bud" Green

Roy Cecil “Bud” Green, age 86, of Maryville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 17, 2023. He was born January 22, 1936, in Madisonville, TN. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and Masonic Vonore Lodge #658. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum with 32 years of service and was an Army Veteran. He was a master woodworker, enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and spending time with family and friends, including his Hardee’s gang. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Nellie Tyler Green; brother, Howard Green; sister, Beatrice Moser, Barbara Bledsoe.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara; daughters, Karen Yarber (Greg Freeman), Karol Rogue, Kim (Doug) Watson, all of Madisonville, Missy LeQuire of New Market; son, Craig (Deana) LeQuire of Maryville; grandchildren, Emily, Wendy, Joshua, Courtney, Jessica, Stephen, Elizabeth, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Allie, Natalie, Preston, Colton, Lones, Mads, Taylynn, Dagny; brother, Kenneth (Diane) Green, sisters, Wanda Bierley, Roxie (Joe) Henderson, all of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews; beloved dog, Bambi.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Oakland Baptist Church, 3501 Old Niles Ferry Rd., Maryville, TN 37803, and the Celebration of Life will be at 2:30 PM with Pastor Gary Hawley and Billy Hearon officiating.
