Ronda Stone

STONE, Ronda Joyce, age 48, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2004 at University of Tennessee Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, David; daughter, Laura Beth; parents, Earl and Deloris Wills of Hutchinson, Minnesota; sisters, Earline Van Hove of Willmar, Minnesota and Nancy Poladian of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was an international flight attendant for Northwest Airlines and began her career with them in 1979. Her career included flying CRAF flights, transporting military troops overseas during the Gulf War. Ronda was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She was active in the church, beginning as a volunteer with the children’s ministries and continuing to influence lives for Christ in youth ministries. She was an avid volunteer with Maryville City Schools. A memorial service will be Wednesday night, January 28, 2004 at Fairview United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. with Dr. Jerry Russell officiating. Burial will be Friday at Burke Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro, Georgia at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Henry Erwin officiating.
