Ronald Franklin "Jeff" Jeffries

Ronald Franklin “Jeff” Jeffries age 86 of Maryville, TN formerly of Washington, DC died Wednesday January 8, 2020. He attended Broadway First United Methodist Church in Maryville He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. and Katie Lee Hackley Jeffries; son, Clint C. Jeffries. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years “Micky” Jeffries; son, John S. Jeffries and wife Christy; daughter, Wendy K. Hunt and husband George; daughter, Jennifer R. Welch; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Jeff was a graduate of Georgia Tech in 1957, he worked in various locations a long the east coast as a Mechanical Engineer. He coached youth baseball and football and was an avid weight lifter and maintained physical fitness until his passing. His hobby was wood working, building cabinets, furniture, Etc. He was a member of the school board in Lynchburg, VA in the early 1970's and worked numerous years at the Greenbriar in West Virginia to modernize their boiler systems. The body was cremated and no services are planned.
