Ronald Charles Ownsby, 79 of Maryville passed away peacefully Sunday, September 20, 2020 at home. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a 50 Year Member of the Masonic Lodge, and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Ownsby; daughter, Tammy (Damion) Cash; son, Brian (Melissa) Ownsby, Maryville, TN; step-son, Terry (Teresa) Feathers, Elizabethton, TN; along with 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Ownsby; mother, Vergie Bostic; step-father, John Bostic; brothers, Raymond, JD, Fred; sister, Imogene.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Greenback, TN. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. with Greg Williamson presiding.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church of Alcoa, 100 South Rankin Rd. Alcoa, TN 37701.
