Ron Greening, Jr.

November 9, 1947 — November 24, 2022

Ron Greening Jr. departed this world on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, 2022. He is preceded in death by Ronald and Elsie Schreiber Greening, Sr. He is survived by his son, Ronald R. Greening III (Tonya) of Morristown; sister, Laura Jewell; brother, Ray Greening both of Michigan. Ron was born in Seattle, Washington while his parents were traveling. He was Confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Michigan, June 10, 1962. He spent his career working for various boat companies as a Manager. But he was most proud of his Service to his country in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War. He loved his Family and friends with a ferocious heart. Ron lived his life unapologetically and to its fullest. He was motorcycle rider and Harley enthusiast, something passed on to him by his Mom & Dad, as they loved to ride as well. A passion also shared with his sister, Laura and his son, Ronnie. Ron will be laid to rest at 8:30 AM, Friday, December 2, 2022, at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway. Anyone who would like to attend to honor this Veteran, are welcome. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation in Ron's memory to your local VFW chapter or to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
