Roger George Lewandowski, age 85, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Parkwest Hospital. He was a founding member of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, Madisonville, Tenn., and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He was former president of Carrier Air Conditioning and former owner of the Royal Flower Gallery, Alcoa. He was the founder and CEO of World Competition Consultants of Maryville. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Norma Jean Lewandowski; parents, Albert and Mary Lewandowski; brothers Albert, Erwin and Robert Lewandowski. He is survived by children, Dr. Linda Lewandowski of Greenfield, Mass., R. Stephen Lewandowski, Dr. Karen Perloni and Jim Perloni, all of Maryville; three grandsons, Justin, Jordan and Jacob Perloni, all of Maryville; one granddaughter, Marisa Lewandowski; great-grandson, William George Kuhn, both of Greenfield, Mass.; sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Jospeh Nowaki and their two children, Mary Jo and Laurie Ann, of Owosso, Mich.; a host of loving friends, including special friends Evelyn Sandlin, Dannette Burchfield and Tommaso Scarfone, of New Jersey; numerous other in-laws, nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, Madisonville, Tenn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Shepard Center, 5150 US 411, Madisonville, TN 37354.
