Robert William Valentine

VALENTINE, Robert William, age 91 of Maryville, died Thursday morning, January 11, 2007, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He retired from ALCOA and was a member of St. Paul AME Zion Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Beulah Valentine; wives, Gladys and Ruth Valentine; son, Edwin; four brothers, Clayton, Walter, Eugene, and Warren Valentine; sister, Eleanor Hannum. Survivors include: daughter, Roberta Little of Severn, MD; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Gilda of Riverdale, GA; four grandchildren, Mark, Sherry, Maraca and Dwayne; three great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jason and Jaden; three sisters, Eunice Marshall, Minnie Branner both of Maryville, Katherine Rogers of Cleveland, OH; two brothers, Charles and Melvin of Maryville; several niece and nephews; cousins, Porter, Moore, Townsend and Coffin families. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2007, in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willa Estell officiating. The interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Alcoa. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. The body may be viewed from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2007, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
