Robert Avery Moss, Sr.

Robert Avery Moss, Sr., age 78, of Alcoa, passed away on July 30, 2024. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force and retired from ALCOA with 32 years of service, Ft. Sanders Hospital, and the University of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Coy and Ella Mae Moss; brothers, Charles Moss, Sr., Joe Moss, James Moss; sisters, Brenda Moss, Margaret Jackson, Emma Moss; daughter, Nikki Gaines. 

He is survived by former spouse, Sara Moss; his children, Robert Moss, Jr., Pamela Moss Mize and special son-in-law Mitch, Veronica Lavon Moss, Michael Corey Moss, Latonya Freeman, Stephanie Gaines; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Moss of Boston, Mass; host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Sunday August 18, 2024, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM. He will be interred at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
